Volunteer Co-Chair
Katie Crecelius:
Over 28 years of professional experience with affordable rental housing in the Bay Area. Served on the Marin Economic Commission for 6 years, including one year as chair. Served for 3 years on the Novato Housing and Services Commission. Currently first reader of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Novato.

"I volunteer with Novato Housing Coalition because it's a group of committed folks who are passionate about social justice, environmental and economic issues.  The lack of affordable housing in Novato increases greenhouse gas emissions, makes it difficult for employers to attract and retain employees, and excludes many from our community.  Novato Housing Coalition volunteers care about Novato.  Civic involvement is important to them.  In short, they are my kind of people."

Volunteer Frank Keenan
Frank is a retired financial executive with much of his career spent in planning and budgeting in the insurance industry.  He now spends much of his time in community service.  Frank serves on the Boards of Marin Village as well as the Marin Chapter of the California Grand Jury Association.  He teaches classes for seniors (long term care and wealth management) for Tamalpais Union Community Education, serves on the Steering Committee for the Novato Housing Coalition, and is Vice Chair of Novato's General Plan Update Committee.  On election days, he can be found running a polling place in Ross Valley.

The reason I am a volunteer for Novato Housing Coalition is to be in a collaborative, creative effort to provide economic, age and physical needs equality in Novato's future housing mix.
